Kwa has rocked many stages and venues through music and speaking in different states and cities. He’s shared stages with artists like Andy Mineo and Da Truth. Kwa is a sought after artist and communicator because of his unique style, creative performances, and his willingness to share the truth. He does much more than just rap, he shares his heart. And when that becomes what’s normal - it’s different!
His flow, honesty, lyricism and clarity has allowed him to connect with different aged people. He obtains the rare ability to cross generations and cultures with a Christ centered message!
Many who know him credit his authentic sound to who he is. Kwa has said, “I never felt the need to hide behind a beat, and I’m not too shy to share my faith, or tell my story because I know that it will always lead to a God-centered conversation.” Growing up he has battled with depression, fought through addictions, and survived imprisonment, and he believes that God can use his willingness to share these struggles to help others.
A complete 180 was necessary in order to not become another statistic like so many of the people that he knew. Today, Kwa doesn’t just confidently walk in that change, but he reaches back to pull people up who need it. “I was saved from the streets to go back to the streets for Christ!”
Kwa is the epitome of success, but not because of his album sales and how much he’s booked. To him success is measured by the accomplishments that take place in God’s Kingdom and in his own household. He believes the greatest things that he can do is to be a person who is continually pursuing God, spreading the Good News of Christ, and being a husband to his beautiful wife, and a father to his wonderful children! He knows that it’s all possible only by God's grace!
